We are wise enough to know that until we have at least a 1000 or so sea miles under our belts and have actually cut the dock lines any planned route isn't worth the paper it is printed on (or webspace it takes up). In general Makara was designed for the southern ocean and when the time is right, we would like to follow the old clipper route, retracing the steps of Joshua Slocum.
